WORK

PROJECT THROWAWAY

I created this project to explore a new skill-set in fashion and clothing design by refurbishing discarded clothes into, not only practical, but innovative and fun clothes that are made totally unique for everyone. The collection was created by mixing brand name apparel with utilitarian items and whatever I could get my hands on.

DARK PATAGONIA

This project was a made-up branding reboot of Patagonia formed into a drivers suit, a race car and helmet. I chose a darker side to show with visuals including skeletons and flowers to visually send a message to people that we must leave the world better than we found it, because even though humans continue to die, the world continues on.

DESTINED ILLUSTRATIONS

I was commissioned to create a new set of illustrations for a client named, Jason DeShaw, a western singer and mental illness activist.
These pieces were created in Photoshop.

ANONYMOUS BOOK

I gathered secret confessions of the students and designed illustrations for each and put together a booklet of a mere 60 pages and printed out copies to sell within the college, which I published through Blurb.

TRAM CAFE ARTICLE

I created an article about a local going-out-of-business cafe called The Tram in Utica, NY in hopes to try to revive their restaurant/cafe. I took pictures, drew illustrations, wrote the article and got an Interview with the owners.

GUERRILLA THRIFTING

For a project, I created a Guerrilla Advertisement for a fake company that allows thrifters to hire a "Hunter" to search for the items they want in another city. These shirts were the Ad to access that company's name, and would be hidden within the thrift store's themselves.

DOUBLE EXPOSURE

I created a magazine of a few selected students from my campus to present them and their art in a plastic and paper combined booklet as a direct metaphor for transparency.

HOT SPRINGS AD

My partner, Veronika Turner and I, created a Guerrilla Advertisement for Hot Springs located in Montana. We came up with a figurine that would be atop a coffee stopper. With an addition of a "water" sticker with their logo, the figurine would look like he was sitting inside a hot springs. This product would be distributed at ski resorts and coffee stops.
